On January 1st 2008, the Youth and Children’s Service within Rochester Diocesan Board of Education became the Department for Voluntary Education. From now on the department will be focussing on delivering training to all employed workers and volunteers in three areas:

Youth Ministry & Youth Work

Children’s Ministry & Children’s Work
-
Extended Schools
In fact any work done with children and/or young people in a voluntary capacity in churhes, schools or in buildings where church youth/children work is being done will be supported by the Diocesan Adviser of Voluntary Education.
Who is DAVE?
The role of DAVE will be carried out by Phil Greig, who was the former Diocesan Youth Adviser and will be supported by Sarah Cabella who is Phil’s PA.
